When creating a piece of woven fabric, weaving occupies most of the weaver's time, demanding the highest levels of creativity and skill if the final product will be of high quality. Similarly, the Electronic Emissary tools and documents linked here are those that help teachers, students, and mentors participate In ("weave") learning projects that incorporate online mentoring in powerful ways.

  • If you're a teacher, select Propose a Project/Request a Mentor when:

    • you are ready to describe the online mentoring project that you and your students would like to do.
    • you have selected a mentor from the Mentor Database whose services you would like to request as part of the project that you have planned.

  • Select Team Information to see information about the teams of mentors, students, and teachers who are currently engaged in online mentoring projects.

  • Select Project Fora to view the Web-based online mentoring discussions to which you have access.

  • If you are a mentor, teacher, or student, select Mentor, Teacher, or Student End-of-Project Questionnaire to describe your experience of a recently completed online mentoring project. This information will help Electronic Emissary staff to evaluate the services that we provide.

  • Select Home Sweet Home to return to the Electronic Emissary's main ("home") page.
